What is the minimum term?

All packages have a 12-month minimum term. This ensures you get the full benefit of scheduled inspections and seasonal maintenance across an entire year. After 12 months, you can renew annually or cancel at the end of your term.

Question 2

What counts as a 'complimentary minor repair'?

Accepted Answer

A repair we can safely and properly complete during your scheduled inspection visit, with an ordinary retail value of no more than $499 including GST - counting labour, standard materials, ordinary travel and the ordinary tools used for the repair. It does not cover work needing a separate attendance, specialist access equipment, engineering, asbestos or other hazardous-material work, specialist subcontractors, or non-standard or specially ordered materials. Whether a repair qualifies is determined reasonably by Leaky Roof having regard to safety, scope, materials, time and licensing. Full definition in clause 5 of the Package Terms. Typical examples: replacing a cracked tile, resealing a flashing, or clearing a blocked downpipe.

When does my membership need to start for the 10-year guarantee extension?

Accepted Answer

Your membership must be active before we start the work. Membership starts the moment your first subscription payment is successfully processed, so you can subscribe when you accept the quote or any time before work begins - but a membership taken out after work has commenced does not extend the guarantee for that job. Every roof works job carries our standard 5-year workmanship guarantee whether you are a member or not.

Question 4

What happens to my benefits if a payment fails?

We will tell you and retry. You have 30 calendar days from the failed payment to fix it. During that time your membership continues and your guarantee extension does not lapse, but services like inspections, gutter cleans, discounts and priority scheduling may be paused after we notify you. Pay within those 30 days and your membership continues without a break and benefits resume from that point. Benefits missed while paused are not doubled up afterwards - with two exceptions: a booking we had already accepted before the pause, and a service you asked for in time that we could not offer you a reasonable appointment for. Those we still honour.

Question 5

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Accepted Answer

You can upgrade at any time during your 12-month term - we'll pro-rate the difference. Downgrades take effect at your next annual renewal.

Do you service my suburb?

Accepted Answer

We service all ACT suburbs including Gungahlin, Belconnen, Woden, Tuggeranong, Weston Creek, Molonglo, and surrounding areas of NSW.

Question 7

What happens if I need emergency repairs?

Accepted Answer

Ultimate Roof Protection subscribers get priority emergency response. All other subscribers get priority scheduling over non-subscribers. For emergencies, call us on (02) 5133 5608.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every price on this page includes GST - the price you see is the price you pay. Your invoice will show the GST component.
